Myponga Primary School
Myponga Primary School is a small, rural public school, characterised by quality teaching and powerful learning. With an enrolment of about 120 students, we pride ourselves on being a friendly, family and community oriented site with a strong focus on student engagement, achievement and growth.
Our school’s core values are Friendliness, Respect, Excellence, Wellbeing and Thinking and Learning (FREWT), and these underpin our work. Currently there are three priorities: Higher standards of Learning Achievement; Health and Wellbeing; and Community and Parent Involvement. These are continually monitored, reviewed and modified, reflecting our site’s ongoing improvement focus. All students learn Japanese and are involved in a high quality arts program. Our students also have high levels of participation and success in a range of SAPSASA events.
A culture of high expectations creates conditions that support all learners to develop the skills to succeed as life-long learners.
